Hi! I'm Noah! I'm a 14 year old boy from Norfolk with a big dream and an even bigger opportunity ahead of me. I have been given the chance to spend a whole MONTH in Costa Rica for an absolutely life changing adventure with Camps International. I'll be living in camps on the beach,in small communities and in the rainforest alongside incredible biodiversity and wildlife and the most important thing is I'll be helping to make a huge difference to people's lives whilst I'm there.
As part of my expedition to Costa Rica I'll be working alongside schools, communities, families to help build important assets such as community playgrounds and a special education school building to help make a HUGE difference to the people that live in the indigenous communities in Costa Rica.
I'll also be camping in the rainforest - studying wildlife and helping protect the incredible animals that live there through really fantastic conservation projects like reforestation, beehive construction and JAGUAR monitoring!
I'll spend 10 days camping at the beach, learning to scuba dive and getting involved with environment protection projects, such as beach clean ups, educational workshops and helping to protect sea turtles and their ecosystems!
For my whole life I've been OBSESSED with animals, anyone who knows me knows how much I want to make a career as a zoologist and for me to be able to spend time surrounded by such incredible biodiversity, on the other side of the world, for an entire month, would be absolutely life changing. But it won't just be life changing for me, with the work I'll undertake alongside Camps International in the local communities we visit, I'll be helping to make positive lifelong changes for people who have a whole lot less than us and really need our support.
The problem is - this trip costs a LOT! I have lots of challenges upcoming to help raise the funds for me to be able to go, and I'm excited to get started on them all - but I also need your help. If you can spare any donation to help get me on my way then it would mean the world to me. Every single penny will make a difference not just to me but to the people I'll meet and support on my adventure and I'd be so grateful for anything you can spare.
Keep checking back for updates on how I'm getting on, and THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help.
Love Noah xx
