**UPDATE: Thank you all so much for your donations, it's truly been amazing the response. I've been measured for my first suit!! I've attached a picture. I should get my suit towards the end of Feb, so excited!! Can't wait!!! Thank you all again!!**
Hello and welcome to my fundraiser.
My name is Noah and I am two and a half years old. I was born extremely premature at 24-weeks and I did not have the greatest start to life.
When I was born, I suffered cardiac arrests and was not supposed to survive the night, but I fought on. I was expected to survive the next day’s yet I still fought on. At one point my entire body turned black and this was when I was at my worst, my parents were told not to leave the hospital and any moment could have been my last.

I managed to overcome all those odds and today I am a healthy and happy little boy. I have some challenges that I have to overcome such as development delay.
Despite being two and a half years old I am not able to walk yet. My physiotherapist has said that my "core" is extremely weak and whilst I can stand supported, I am not going to be able to walk unsupported for some time.
My Physiotherapist has advised my family that a Lycra Suit would be massively beneficial to help build my core strength which will enable me to finally be able to walk.
This would enable me to fully support myself moving around. I would be able to walk in the park, around the house and also with all my friends in nursery who can mostly run around and play whilst I trail behind crawling.
My physiotherapist had tried to get funding for these expensive suits; however, they are no longer funded by the NHS and she has tried all she can to secure us funding, which was not accepted.
Lycra suits are expensive! We have been advised we will require 2 x suits a year for maybe 3 years!! The suits are £800 a time!!! This is broken down as such:
"As a private suit, the cost will be approx. a maximum of £800. This includes about £550 for the suit plus £250 for 3 Orthotist appointments. These are for measuring, fitting, and 8-week follow-up appointment"
Having to have a GoFundMe is not something we would have wanted to do; however, we want to be able to provide the recommended suits for Noah. He's an amazing little boy who has overcome so much in his short life already and we want to be able give him that extra lease of life and help him to take those first steps unsupported. It would mean the world to Noah and to us as a family.
If you are happy to, we would really appreciate your support. Even if you can't support by donating, sharing this with your friends and family will also help us immensely.
We thank you for taking the time to read about Noah's story and fundraising page.
