Hi my name is Noah Helsby and I am 14 years old. I started training in karate at 3 years old under Sensei Gene Tibon at Tibon’s Goju-Ryu Fighting Arts in Stockton, CA. I started competing at the age of 6 going to tournaments throughout California as well as Oregon, Nevada ,Pennsylvania and South Carolina. This past weekend I competed at the USA National Championships and Team Trials in Reno, NV and won the gold medal in the 14-15 Elite Male Kumite -52kg division and secured a spot on the USA Jr National Team. This has given me the opportunity to travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to compete in the Pan American Championships on August 19-26 2018!
I am raising money for travel expenses for me and my chaperone as well as other expenses I will incur. I will do my best to make my family, dojo and country proud! Thank you in advance for your support as I pursue my karate journey!
