Noah Yamya Terry was born on August 2nd, 1998, the second son to Kristin and Tracy Terry. He was a sweet, funny and observant child who cared deeply for others. The kind of kid who would wave at passersby just because he knew it made people feel good to be acknowledged- whether he knew them or not.  He was thoughtful, light hearted, and kind. A person who, when seeing another in need, would not hesitate to offer his support or even his home, if he thought it would help. A natural athlete, Noah excelled in sports and had a true passion for football, a game he played and loved throughout his entire life. Noah was an enigmatic person, a natural born leader, beloved by many for his compassion, passion and love for life. He was known to spread his arms wide when greeting people, an open expression of love and affection. As an adult, he found passion community, joy and creative expression through his car club- a community and lifestyle that he shared, like all things his entire life, with his best friend and big brother, Isiah. 

On October 24th, 2020, Noah's life came to a tragic and unexpected end, he died in the loving and protective arms of his brother- the result of gun violence. The pain of this unimaginable loss-  overwhelming enough for those of us who love and survive him- is compounded by an ongoing homicide investigation.  To help us navigate the investigation our family has retained the services of a Victim's Attorney so that we can have hope that justice will be served while we are in mourning. While this is a help to us, it is also one of many new and unanticipated expenses. We have set up this fund to help offset the stress that these many expenses create.
