Hi, my name is Betty. I am Melissa Mercer's mom, mother in law to Eric Stremble. Our family has recently experienced the devastating loss of our sweet baby Noah. What should have been a joyous time for my daughter and her husband has turned into a very real nightmare that they can't wake up from. 35 weeks into Melissa's pregnancy, Noah was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease called Tuberous Sclerosis when a scan revealed multiple tubers on Noah's heart. Test after test, they hung onto hope when nothing was found on Noah's other organs. Until the MRI revealed a large mass on Noah's frontal lobe. My grandson would not come home. Melissa and Eric are in shock, they have experienced a loss no one should have to endure. Through it all they are faced with the reality of arranging a funeral for their baby boy rather than experiencing all the joy of parenthood. Your donation will help with the cost of Noah's funeral and given that Melissa and Eric were unable to work regularly having to attend so many appointments for tests for Noah. Your donation will help them financially, allowing Melissa to have time to heal physically and mentally, enabling them to take the time to grieve the loss of Noah together, giving them the time to attend counseling together to learn how to navigate through their pain, and work towards a future without the joy that should have been.
