Noah Klinski and family

In mid-August, the numerous trips to the ER at Mayo Clinic in Red Wing, MN began to investigate what was causing a sudden influx of vomiting and restlessness for 5-month-old Noah. After the last emergency room visit, Noah was transported by ambulance to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. This was when a parent's worst nightmare came to fruition.

Mayo Clinic in Rochester concluded that Noah has severe heart issues. His left heart ventricle was only working at 10% capacity. Noah was started on some medication to aid in boosting the muscular activity of his heart. The medical team scheduled an MRI to look closely at his heart but could not pursue that option after some arrhythmias. It was decided that on September 1st, Noah was to have open heart surgery to place a Centrimag Machine to keep the heart pumping and to maintain the integrity of his other organs. Thankfully, his other organs have not been impacted and are functioning well. After a successful surgery, Noah was placed on the transplant list. When they found the “sweet spot” for the Centrimag Machine, Noah was able to be held and started to take a bottle for feedings again. On Monday, September 26th, the Berlin Heart Machine arrived. Now it is a waiting game for the medical staff to make the switch from the Centrimag Machine to the Berlin Heart. Doctors are waiting to make the switch until they can find the perfect time to get his blood just right, so the risk of his body throwing a blood clot will be as low as possible. As the family waits for Noah to receive his transplant, they diligently care for the rest of their family and continue to work to ensure insurance doesn’t lapse. Noah will remain at the hospital until the transplant, and the date of the transplant is unknown at this time.

The funds gathered for the family will be used for basic living expenses that continue to accumulate, medical bills, food, and any other expenses that they may encounter while Noah is in the hospital.

Noah's mom (Jess) and dad (Tyler) are hardworking and family oriented. The two of them and their immediate families are always willing to lend a hand and support those around them. Now is our chance to send love, support, and prayers their way.
