No parent should ever have to go through this. On Thursday 11th June 2026, Noah Johnson, only 15 years old, left this world far too soon. His passing has shattered his family, leaving his Mum, Dad, brother and sister behind - they are still struggling to believe that he is no longer here. Noah was the most funny, cheeky, kind-hearted, energetic boy with a never-ending smile. For a small guy, he had a huge personality and deserved a lifetime of moments he will now never get to live.

Noah was born with a rare form of Eosinophillic Brittle asthma which resulted in monthly visits to Royal Manchester Children's Hospital throughout his life. His medication was extensive and included weekly injections and twice daily tablets to help keep his airways open. Despite his life-threatening condition, Noah didn't ever let it hold him back. He managed to find the strength to carry on with daily life and became friends with so many young people at Rivington and Blackrod and St Joseph's High School, amongst others. He was also a proud player of Horwich RMI U15 Blues Football team and loved his weekly matches; something his parents never thought he would be fit enough to do. Devastatingly, on the morning of 11th June, a rare and unpredictable attack obstructed his airway and took Noah away from our world.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover the unexpected costs of his funeral and to honour him with the dignity, love, and care he deserves. No family prepares for something like this, and the financial burden has added another layer of pain to an already unbearable loss.

But this page is not only about grief. It is also about legacy.

Even at 15, Noah had a heart that reached beyond himself. He was passionate about his family, his hobbies and, of course, Everton football club. His dream was to one day become an Aerospace Engineer; he was a keen mathematician. However, one of the most important things to Noah was his friendships, this has been evident in the huge response and amount of support from so many young people right across Horwich- they have done Noah proud. To keep his spirit alive, we hope to create a small legacy in his name—something in the community that will allow his friends and family to remember him. We want his light to keep shining.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us give Noah the farewell he deserves and ensures that his story doesn’t end here. If you cannot donate, sharing this page means more than you know.

Thank you for holding Noah and his family in your thoughts during the darkest chapter of their lives. Your support will help carry a weight that no parent should ever have to bear.
