My name is Vicky and I’m fundraising for my best friend and her boyfriend to give their son the funeral he deserves who sadly but peacefully passed away on the 01/05/2025 after fighting such a battle.

Noah was one of a kind who never stopped fighting. He was the light to many lives and he deserves a proper send off

Story below

Noah was born extremely premature at 24+3 weeks, weighing only 440g. We spent 6 and a half months at Bradford Neonates. Noah spent 6 weeks on a ventilator fighting his Chronic Lung Disease which only continued to get worse. He eventually moved onto high flow and was doing better than ever. We then discovered Noah had very severe Pulmonary hypertension and lots of other issues due to his prematurity. In December 2024 we were told we had to be moved from Bradford to Leeds respiratory ward, to help Noah hopefully get home with some breathing support or Long Term Ventilation. We arrived at Leeds at the end of December and they did many tests, the CT scan showed how severe his Pulmonary Hypertension was and this resulted in him now needing a tracheostomy to be able to grow and help him get better. January 16th Noah went for his tracheostomy surgery and thrived after his recovery, we were aiming for home and we were being trained to look after his new condition to take him home. Noah then started to have very regular set backs, pulmonary hypertension crisis, infections and viral infections. He always got better and was proving all the doctors wrong.

In April he once again fell poorly with a chest infection and this led to Noah getting sepsis. Noah started to get really poorly and had to be very sedated and paralysed to take control of his breathing, he was put onto many different medications and machines to help him get better. His organs started to be seriously affected and was deteriorating quickly, this ended up getting too much for him. Noah fought until the very end always proving to everyone how strong he is.

Both mum and dad appreciate anything given no matter how small. Everything donated will be going towards Noah’s funeral.
