Noah & Bryce's American Music Abroad Tour!

Hi, my name is Noah Cordes. This summer, my cousin Bryce Davison and I will be taking part in a once-in-a-lifetime tour through Europe with American Music Abroad. This organization has been leading these tours for 42 years, exposing more than 36,000 American participants to wonderful musical, cultural, and historical experiences. This year, with your help, Bryce and I are excited to take advantage of this incredible opportunity.
As a part of a select chorus, we will be performing in musically significant cities and villages across Europe, including Strasbourg, Salzburg, and Brugge, to name a few. Other features of the tour will include:
- A visit to Omaha Beach and the World War II memorial and museum
- A guided canal boat tour and a visit to a chocolate factory in Brugge
- A cruise along the Rhine River
- A visit to the medieval towns of Heidelberg and Dinkelsbühl
- An excursion to Haut Königsbourg Castle in France
- Guided tours of Strasbourg, France and Salzburg, Austria
- A visit to the Dachau concentration camp
- Participation in a Tyrolean Folk Fest
- A trip via cable car to a glacier in the Austrian Alps.
A little about my background: I have been involved in music all my life. I will be attending this tour as part of the choir, but I also play the trombone and have performed in many musicals and plays. In addition, I was fortunate enough to sing in this year's New York State All-State Music Festival. Besides music, I am the quarterback of the football team, captain of the basketball team, and president of my senior class.
Bryce is also active musically. Besides being in chorus and musicals, he also plays the tuba, saxophone, bass guitar, and acoustic guitar. Outside of the music room, he is on the golf team and indoor track team, as well.
We would be grateful for any donations that help us make this trip a reality. I am a senior this year, so this will possibly be my last opportunity to take advantage of a tour like this to sing overseas and explore the rich cultures of Europe. Destinations aside, this experience will be made all the more special because I am able to spend it with a family member. Thank you so much for your help!
