Megan Helzer's Memorial Fund

My name is Andrew Innes, and I am setting up this gofundme account on behalf of my late girlfriend Megan Rose Helzer. Megan was a wonderful girl for all those who have had a chance to meet her. It would only take a few minutes for her to have a lasting impact on peoples lives. The money raised by this charity will be used to help cover funeral expences and help support the family who is already struggling financialy during this time. In 2011 Megans father passed away from cancer; she said she was very depressed for a very long time and was finaly getting her self back together, back to the person she wanted to be. In December of 2013 her mother was diagnosed with brain cancer. It was difficult for everyone, especially her because she did not know what to do. She felt hopeless and at the beginning of our relationship I questioned myself and wondered if I was enought of a man to support a woman I have only knew a few months during this time. This past year had been pretty rought but through family and friends she was able to get throught the worst. She had been helping her family pay bills as well as having pleanty of her own that she was trying to settle. Over the past two months I was really starting to see her, her mother Janet, and the rest of her family grow into a positive way. She wasn't scared anymore, sometimes depressed, but so motivated to become independent and grow start her own life as and adult.
Megan would always be a stong person and reach out to anyone who needed help and support. She was a confidant strong woman and I was grateful that I was able to work with her for a few months to see how strong her integrety was. Early sunday morning 3/1 I recived a phonecall from her that she was leaving work and we where going to meet at her house. She never came home that night. She was in a tragic car accident that had her vehicle flip over multiple times before rolling over.
