NO WORK MEANS NO FOOD

COVID-19. The Lockdown. For us, that means no work, no friends, no restaurants, no cinemas. We spend our time at home, binging on Netflix, Instagram, and junk food.
Shift to Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. Lockdown means no work. No work means no money. No money means no food. The government won't help - it can't. Employers won't help - they can't either. Daily wage workers such as shoe polishers, fruit seller and labourers are suffering the most. The poorest are hit the hardest.
As if this weren't enough, Kashmir has become a political playground for its bigger neighbours, India and Pakistan.
The Kashmiri people have been forgotten.
We can help.
We are distributing 15-day food parcels to feed hungry families of 4-5. They cost 3500PKR - that's £16.00. For the price of a takeaway pizza, you can help us help the people of Kashmir.
We've set a target to feed 100 families, every month, until the lockdown ends.
We need £3300 for Month 1. The more we raise, the fewer families go hungry.
Let's make sure the Kashmiri people aren't forgotten again.
