No Shave x Iron Mind Fund - In Memory of Kyle

In June 2018, a beloved friend and brother, Kyle Burkey, was taken from us far too soon. Over the last 2+ years, we have continued to honor his memory and keep Kyle close to our hearts through the dedication of our No Shave November campaign to raise money for the Kyle Burkey Memorial Scholarship Fund. As part of our fundraising efforts, we have worked to bring awareness and create a forum to speak openly about mental health issues across the world. 

As many of you know, over the last year, our good friend Nate Kern began training for the Ironman Triathlon, both in memory of Kyle and in support of the Jed Foundation, which works toward providing teens and young adults with the means to properly deal with mental health disorders. Although 2020 has been a turbulent year with its fair share of challenges, Nate has raised more than $30,000 through his brand, the Iron Mind Fund. 

With Nate entering his final month of training before his Ironman in Tempe, AZ on November 22nd, we have dedicated our No Shave fundraising efforts to further support the Iron Mind Fund and raise money for both the Kyle Burkey Memorial Scholarship and the Jed Foundation. We have set our initial goal at $7,500 this year and would love to see how far we can help Nate go the final leg of this long journey. Any and all support is appreciated, and together, we can work to extinguish the stigma around mental health issues.
