No Shave November for Brady Strong
Donation protected
Last year for No Shave November the Atlantic Highlands PBA Local 242 raised money for various national cancer research organizations such as the Prevent Cancer Foundation and St. Jude’s, among others. This year the Atlantic Highlands PBA Local 242 has decided to try and help a local family by raising money and refusing to shave. The funds raised by this GoFundMe will be used to help ease the burden on this local family and to help them through these hard times.
On June 23, 2020 the Waltz family’s lives were changed in an instant upon hearing that their 8 y/o son Brady Waltz had been diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Over the course of the next months Brady will be going through an intense chemo protocol at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Once this initial vigorous course of chemo is complete, he’ll have another year and a half or so of “maintenance” chemo treatment.
Brady is like many other kiddos his age. He loves baseball, soccer, football (Go Patriots : ), X-Box, Nintendo Switch, Fortnite and of course he loves playing with his big brother Carter (11). Brady’s mom Amy is a Dental Hygienist and his dad John is a Corporal for the Fair Haven Police Department as well as he’s the 2nd Assistant Fire Chief of the Middletown Township Fire Department (and a member of Community Fire Co. Station #4 in Leonardo).
With your donation lets help Brady and the Waltz Family during this difficult
time.
