No Paws Left Behind for DASF

Hello, we are undergraduates at the University of North Texas and aim to raise money for the Denton Animal Support Foundation. DASF was founded in 2006 by Denton volunteers and philanthropist Ms. Bette Sherman. It has since been a 501 c 3 non-profit organization with a mission to save the Denton area animals. They do not receive state, city, federal, or county funding. They receive their operating funds from donations, grants, and fundraising events. DASF provides food, shelter and love for pets needing a forever home. The foundation focuses on four key areas; Education, the City of Denton Animal Shelter, Lake Dallas Animal Shelter and the Denton community. Every 10 dollars would buy five servings of wet dog food for the animals.

Our campaign is called No Paws Left Behind. The mission is to raise enough money to give every pet its best chance at being adopted, or at least make their stay comfortable until they can find their forever home. These animals are strays and have been abandoned, surrendered, or lost. Many have even lost hope that their day of being chosen will ever come. Every dollar and cent that we can make will benefit the Denton Animal Support Foundation. By donating to these animals, you will help directly as it is a tax-deductible donation and you will be able to sleep well at night knowing the local animals in need are safe.
