URGENT NEED: Help Fund Neurosurgery Care in Sierra Leone!
Tax deductible
Help support Sierra Leone patients with brain cancer, brain tumors, brain trauma, and other neurological conditions in need of urgent care. Sierra Leone has suffered a recent civil war, frequent natural disasters, and the Ebola pandemic and is in desperate need of care.
All donations and funds will be donated towards the Mission:Brain Sierra Leone Initiative, a non-profit working tirelessly to provide neurosurgical expertise and resources to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers in underserved areas throughout the world. The Sierra Leone Initiative is a project that is making a huge difference and dedicated towards providing rapid care to neurosurgery to those in Sierra Leone. With only one practicing neurosurgeon for hundreds of patients, the need is urgent. Donations will go towards curriculum development for neuro OR/ICU nurses, anesthesia, radiology, providing equipment, instruments, and supplies, and covering surgeries for indigent Sierra Leonean patients who can't afford it.
This fundraiser is part of "The Constellation," Giving Harmony's solo benefit concert featuring International Young Tchaikovsky semifinalist cellist Ivette Chen, who is also currently a neuroscience concentrator at Harvard. Her talented musicians and friends from Harvard and California will also be performing as well. All proceeds from "The Constellation" will be donated to the Mission:Brain Sierra Leone Initiative.
Your help can change lives. Please donate and share this fundraiser. Let's make a difference together!
