No One Fights Alone Tom Shepherd III

There are times where we all say “Let me know if you need anything!” But how often do people really ask for help? Not very often. Why? Because asking for help is difficult! So we are asking people to help the Shepherds, a wonderful family who have been through so much. We have grown to love this family through a friendship that developed in high school.

This Gofundme is to help support his family since Tom had to stop working in 2021 to focus on his health and Mandy is out of paid time off and has been in the hospital with Tom since Saturday evening.

Tom was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. His current diagnosis is Stage IVC Parotid Gland Adenocarcinoma which has morphed into Sarcomatoid Carcinoma with ALK+ STRN fusion. There is no cure for this type of cancer. The treatments received are to help slow the growth with current radiation treatments being palliative in nature for pain management. Tom is currently hospitalized for an unknown source of infection and a better regimen for pain medication.

So if you’re family, friend, coworker, or just someone who would like to help make a family’s life a little easier, PLEASE show Tom, Mandy, and their two children some love.
