We are reaching out to ask for support for an incredible family who is facing one of the hardest battles of their lives.
CJ is a devoted husband to his wife, Cassi, and a loving father to their four young children, all under the age of 8. At just 40 years old, CJ has always been the heart of his family, the hardworking provider, the dependable dad, and the loving husband who puts his family first every single day. Cassi is a dedicated stay-at-home mom who gives her all to raising their children and caring for their home.
In March, CJ underwent surgery and was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the tonsils, turning their world upside down overnight. While that was a major step, his journey is far from over.
CJ will now face at least six weeks of daily radiation treatment, with the possibility of a second surgery in the future. Radiation treatments for this type of cancer can come with brutal side effects, making it extremely difficult to work and maintain daily routines. During this time, CJ will be out of work, leaving the family without their primary source of income.
With four young children depending on them, the financial stress of medical expenses, household bills, groceries, and everyday needs is overwhelming. This is where we hope to come together as a community to help lift some of that burden.
This GoFundMe was created to support CJ, Cassi, and their children through the months ahead, helping cover lost income, medical costs, travel to treatments, and daily living expenses. Our hope is to allow CJ to focus on healing and fighting this cancer, while Cassi continues caring for their young children and supporting her husband every step of the way.
