Hi!!! It’s me, Sarina!!

I am so excited to announce that this summer I will be taking my solo show, Sarina Freda: no no no please no god no, nevermind i’m fine, to THE Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland this upcoming August. It has been a dream of mine for years, and I’m thrilled that it is finally happening.

A bit about the show:

In 2021, over the course of a harrowing LSD trip, Sarina confronted death and won. Now she's dying (not literally!) to reveal the powerful, life-changing lessons she learned that day. There’s comedy, there’s clown, and wishful delusion. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that what Sarina needs to embrace is the very thing she’s refusing to.

A bit about me, I am a recent grad from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, originally from LA, and currently living in Brooklyn, New York. During my training, I studied at the Atlantic Acting Studio and then abroad in Amsterdam. There, I created experimental theater at the A Lab and became deeply inspired to generate my own work. Since graduating, I have worked on several new projects with Clubbed Thumb, The Geva Center, The Hangar Theater Company, the 24-Hour Plays Festival (Nationals 2020), and more. And I am a member of The What Co. Theatre Company.

Working on this project has been the most meaningful experience of my life thus far. I have never felt so empowered and terrified at the same time. As I continue to develop the project and see the piece become what I’ve dreamt up for so long, I feel closer to myself and to the great force beyond.

Bringing a show to the Fringe Festival is an expensive endeavor, so I am raising money to help fund the cost of the venue, travel, housing, marketing, flyering, and general production costs for the full length of the show. We are a small (but mighty) team so each donation we receive will be a noticeable and significant contribution to making this dream a reality.
