My Story....

My name is Paul Cameron, but many know me as Trauma Paul.

For years, I’ve been helping people heal their inner child, face deep trauma, and finally break free from cycles of pain. Every day, people message me with stories like:

“I’ve been waiting over a year for therapy.”

“My counsellor didn’t understand my trauma.”

“I feel let down again and again.”

The truth is — the system is overstretched. The NHS is drowning in waiting lists. Traditional counselling often doesn’t go deep enough. And the people who need help the most are being told to wait.

When the system fails us as adults, it cuts the same wound that was made when we were children: the wound of being let down.

I’ve applied for funding. I’ve applied for charity status. I’ve been rejected more times than I can count. But rejection is not the end — it’s the start of a revolution.

The Mental Health 500

This campaign is about turning rejection into action.

The Mental Health 500 will reach as many people as possible with free and low-cost workshops, live events, and safe spaces where people can finally connect to themselves and each other.

No waiting lists.

No rejection letters.

No one left invisible.

Just truth, healing, and transformation.

Why This Matters

This isn’t about me.

This isn’t about one man.

This is about all of us — every person who’s been told “no” by the system, and every inner child who learned to believe “I don’t matter.”

Where Your Money Goes

Every donation fuels the movement:

Hosting live workshops and community events.

Covering travel and resources to reach more people.

Providing free workshop seats for those who can’t afford it.

Creating take-home tools so healing continues long after the event.

Our first goal is £10,000. From there, we expand — £25,000 for a full Scotland tour, £50,000 for UK-wide reach, and beyond.
