My Dear Husband was diagnosed with Brain Cancer April 2, 2018. He was suffering from headaches for quite some time. Surgery revealed a Right Frontal Large Mass. A Diagnosis of a Right Frontal Glioblastoma, Multi Form, Grade 4 was made by the Neurosurgeon. Chemo & Radiation Treatments followed.
At present, Michael is comfortable at home with the Best of Medical Care.
As His Loving Wife, and Primary Care Taker, I am suddenly in a position to take care of everything. This includes the well-being of my two daughters, our dog and cat, home maintenance, and managing the bills.
Michael is currently on disability. Since he is no longer able to actively work as an Actuary, our income has significantly decreased. Everyday I monitor our checking account out to make sure we stay above water. The funds for our house alone, re mortgage, and taxes can really be draining. At some point down sizing could be in the picture. Our medical bills, and non-medical bills can also take a toll on us. I am doing everything I can to help manage my family emotionally, and financially. I appreciate all the love, and care that has come my way so far. I pray for God to give me strength, and the courage to help Michael with his journey. I Believe we will get through this!
