There is a staggering amount of Missouri school lunch debt—$138 million.
For each family in debt, it is estimated to be about $550.
Students are often shamed about this debt: they are asked about the debt in front of their friends, often have to eat alternative lunches, or worse, they just go hungry.
We are in the process setting up a foundation (www.noMOschoollunchdebt.org) to raise funds to help pay off this debt. But, in the meantime, we are looking for donations to help. All funds raised go to paying off students' debts.
