Hello, my name is Jennifer, from Seattle, WA, and I am raising funds for my friend Sakher, whom I have known for over a year and a half now.
Sakher is a wonderful person: kind and thoughtful, and always working to help the people around him. Thank you so much for your support in solidarity with Sakher and with the people of Gaza.

My name is Sakher, a young man from Gaza.
Since the beginning of the war, my life has turned into hell.
I used to dream of a future to work, to marry my fiancée Reem, to build a small home… but the war has taken everything.

Today, we’re not just under bombs.
We’re under siege. Under hunger. Under suffering.

My fiancée, my family, and I live in inhuman conditions.
We go for days without food, and when we find something, it’s barely enough to survive.
Water? Not always available and when it is, it’s often dirty or contaminated.

My mother is sick, and there’s no medicine.
I’ve lost a huge amount of weight, my body is weak, and I feel dizzy all the time from hunger and stress.
My hands are cracked and wounded. My stomach is empty. My heart is broken.
Reem, my fiancée, is all skin and bones now. She holds my hand and says, "We have to survive. We have to escape."
But how? The whole world has closed its doors.

I’m not asking for luxury.
I’m asking for a chance to live for some dignity, some safety, some hope.

This campaign is our last lifeline.
Any donation no matter how small can mean a meal, a painkiller, a safe place to sleep, or even a chance to escape this nightmare.
Please help us survive.
We are dying slowly, but our eyes still hold hope.
