Help Roelie Post Fight Kafkaesque Persecution After 25 Years
Donation protected
My name is Roelie Post, and for 25 years, I’ve been a whistleblower fighting for truth and justice. My story has been covered by countless media outlets, and my efforts have even been recognized in the Dutch Parliament through the "Motie Omtzigt" and by the House of Whistleblowers. But despite this acknowledgment, the European Commission, along with the Belgian Prosecutor and Police, refuse to listen or act.
Instead, they’ve turned my life into a nightmare straight out of Kafka. The latest blow? They’ve declared my house "abandoned" — a blatant lie — and slapped me with a staggering €35,000 fine. This is no mistake; it’s a ruthless tactic to bury me in debt and silence me once and for all. They’re not just attacking my home; they’re attacking my spirit, my resolve, and everything I’ve fought for over decades.
I’ve spent my life exposing corruption, often at great personal cost. Now, I’m facing an unjust system determined to crush me financially and emotionally. I can’t do this alone anymore. I need your help to fight back, clear this absurd fine, and keep standing up for what’s right.
The term "Kafkaesque" comes from the works of Franz Kafka, like The Trial, where people are trapped in bewildering, oppressive systems that defy logic or fairness. That’s exactly what I’m living through. For 25 years, I’ve resided in Brussels, a whistleblower with a well-documented life — including a police file dating back to 2004 and regular visits to the authorities. Yet, the Commune of Brussels has declared my house "abandoned" since 2022. They claim I don’t exist, erasing me from their reality. At the same time, they demand I pay a €35,000 fine for this so-called abandonment — a contradiction so surreal it’s almost laughable if it weren’t destroying my life.
Imagine this: I’m visible enough to be fined, pursued, and punished, but invisible when it comes to my rights or existence. The police know me, my story is public, yet the system acts as if I’m a ghost — one they can still bill. It’s a bureaucratic nightmare where evidence of my presence is ignored, and I’m caught in a loop of punishment without reason or recourse. This isn’t just unfair; it’s a deliberate, ruthless twist of logic designed to crush me under debt and despair.
Your support will not only help me cover this €35,000 penalty and legal fees but also send a message: whistleblowers deserve protection, not persecution. Every donation, no matter how small, is a step toward justice — for me and for others who dare to speak out.
Please, stand with me. Share my story. Together, we can resist this injustice.
