NO BONE: THE STORY
With a long career promoting street art, music and film as well as pioneering online marketing through social media, Marc Schiller was well regarded as a communications expert. But in 2015, he suffered a stroke on both sides of his brain, leaving him with a language impairment known as aphasia and with some cognitive deficits. From day one in the intensive care unit, his family and then Marc himself, have been documenting his arduous recovery.  No Bone is the culmination of Marc’s own chronicles of his battle towards recovery, as well as interviews with close friends, family, and colleagues.

Despite Marc’s limited language abilities, he’s been able to work with an editor for the past year by giving directions via an application on a tablet. This documentary is a self-portrait of a man whose words have forsaken him, forcing him to adapt his life and find new ways of communicating.

YOUR SUPPORT
After nearly a year of assembling hours of footage, filming interviews and editing all the material, we have completed a cut of the film. But in order to finish the film, we need your help.
