I’m Sheila Anderson, a Gospel singer, Medical Assistant for over a decade, a wife, mother, and proud grandmother. I am also part of the Lender Hand Outreach Ministry, a charitable organization dedicated to helping the elderly and supporting children in Jamaica by paying school fees and assisting university students who are unable to afford tuition.
I was born and raised in Jamaica, and though I now live in the United States, my heart remains deeply connected to my homeland. Today, I am raising funds to help families, friends, and community members who have been devastated by Hurricane Melissa, which caused severe destruction across the island.
Many of the people we serve through our ministry have lost their homes, personal belongings, and means of living. Some are now sleeping in damaged houses or temporary shelters, while others have nothing left at all.
How your donations will help:
The funds raised will go directly toward providing essential recovery support for affected families, including:
- Rebuilding and repairing damaged homes
- Supplying food, clean water, and hygiene products
- Replacing mattresses, beds, and basic furniture
- Providing clothing and shoes
- Purchasing medicine and first-aid supplies
- Assisting with school materials for displaced children
- Helping elderly and disabled individuals with urgent care and shelter
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a real difference. Together, we can help restore hope and dignity to those who are suffering and give them the foundation they need to rebuild their lives.
Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us. On behalf of all the families and individuals in need, I sincerely thank you for your support during this challenging time.
With love and gratitude,
