Daring to Hope: Nnenna's Cancer Journey
Donation protected
This fundraiser is being organized on behalf of Nnanna Okogbue to support Nnenna's treatment
My dearly beloved sister Nnenna, my “Otuanya’m” as I fondly call her, Prada and Kamal’s mummy is currently battling stage 2 breast cancer. Nnenna is only 36 years, the most selfless person I know, ready to risk it all for everyone and willing to give out anything she has without flinching. She has been away from work since July 2021. Though overwhelmed by fear of the unknown, we, her family and friends, are holding on to God’s mercies as she goes through extensive treatment in Istanbul, Turkey.
The total cost of treatment including surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy is $71,917. By God’s grace, we have paid $33,117 and the balance is $38,800. We are daring to hope for Nnenna’s healing and restoration in this journey.
Thank you for your prayers, thoughts and contributions for Nnenna.

Nnenna’s words:
“I had big plans for the rest of 2021 and cancer was certainly not a part of them. My world came to a standstill on the 4th of May, 2021 when I received the diagnosis of stage 2 breast cancer. Thoughts of my young children, my father, my siblings flooded my mind. I wondered how we would cope with such a heavy blow. It has been God’s favor all the way. Strangers I do not know have come to my rescue, my beloved family and friends have been extremely supportive. So far, the doctors have done a segmental mastectomy and I am currently on the second cycle of chemotherapy at the American Hospital in Istabul. I have now been away from my family for 7 months for treatment, yet each day I live with HOPE, with my eyes on the prize. I will live to raise my children, while I fulfill my destiny according to the plans of the Almighty God. May God bless you as you join me in daring to HOPE for life and healing through your contributions and prayers”
