On June 7, 2015, my daughter, Nneka Ogbor, turned 15. Since she was a child she dreamed of having a quinceañera, but now her birthday wish is to have monies go towards her education and graduate from Valley Christian High School (VCHS).
I am so proud of Nneka as she completes her freshman year at VCHS with straight A’s and exceling in math. She is part of the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) program at school and a member of four clubs.
Nneka plans on becoming a pediatric psychiatrist and has developed a road-map for fulfilling her dream. She has already selected classes for the remaining three years at VCHS so that she can get into the best college possible. Someday as an alumna she hopes to give others students the same opportunity she has been given.
As a proud single-mother raising this unbelievably amazing teenage girl, please help me celebrate her 15th year of her life by supporting her high school education. Her wish is not to receive designer clothes, expensive trips, or celebrity outings, but to continue her education by going to one of the best high schools in town that will prepare her for the future.
If you desire and are able, please make a gift in honor of Nneka's 15th birthday and leave her an encouraging comment.
THANK YOU for being part of her life. THANK YOU for supporting her education. THANK YOU for celebrating her birthday.
Nneka's mom,
Sharon Shelbourne Ogbor
