Hi, this Go Fund Me is to raise funds to support McKenzie and his family. Yesterday (Saturday 14th January) McKenzie was diagnosed with Leukemia. His mum and dad , being understandably in bits, is unable to clarify which type as they had a lot of information to take in. I'll update accordingly on that.

In the meantime, 13 year old McKenzie has already received a blood transfusion at Margate, plus platelets and strong antibiotics via drip. QEQM is liaising with The Royal Marsden and St George's and once a bed is available he will be transferred to undergo further treatments. This is happening tomorrow.

His parents will be needing to travel to and fro, with one staying with him at all times. This could be for months.

This will obviously entail fuel costs, food expenses and everything else associated with such times. Clearly bills and such at home still need to be paid, and as the family has no income as not being able to work your help will be invaluable.

There are five other kids that will still need feeding etc!

Please help with this unexpected situation if you can, as on a daily basis these guys don't ever ask for help, and would be the first to help you
