Mission Trip to South Asia

I wanted to share with you an exciting opportunity that the Lord has opened up for me . As you know, I have been on several missions in the past three years. I have a strong burden on my heart for missions and giving of myself to others in need. I feel that the energy that God given me has a true calling that relates to missions. Through the Energy I have, I have been able to draw people and help evangelize.
My church is sponsoring a mission trip to southeast Asia to present the Gospel to folks there and I feel that the Lord would have me go be a part of that ministry.
I am writing this letter to share with you an exciting mission opportunity God has presented to me. During June 25- July 5, 2015, I will be traveling to South East Asia with a Mission Team. I am so excited and cannot wait to utilize my energy and skills for the kingdom. While in South East Asia, we will meet with missionaries, help teach English, and visit an orphanage.
Sharing the Gospel in South East Asia is not widely acceptable, but it is something that Christ calls us to do as His followers. The people of South East Asia believe in many different religions such as Buddhism, Athesim, Taoism, or the may not believe in anything other than themselves. With many easter religions present, many have never had the opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ. Although this mission trip will be a challenge spiritually, it will be a great opportunity and blessing to bring the gospel to the people of South East Asia. I am personally looking forward to the mission, so I can learn more about the culture and share my faith with those who have never heard.
If you are interested, there are a couple of ways you could be involved in this ministry. One way to is to be a partner in prayer with me for this trip. You could pray for our team’s health and safety, for unity, that God would keep us seeking to be a light for the people there.
Another way would be to help with the finances for the trip. If you feel that you would like to have a part in this ministry either financially or prayerfully (or both), that would be a real blessing! I have included the details of the trip for your information. The trip will cost $2,600. As I have experienced short-term missions for the last few years, however, I have experienced the Lord meeting my needs in the past, so I am going to trust Him to do the same now.
