this post hurts. thursday evening i got a phone call from Jerome Binz that stops me in my tracks. He told me that Lacey had to be life flighted to UPMC Presby from Uniontown Hospital. My initial thought was where is benji? He was safe in the car with his pap. my next question was what happened to Lacey? josh attacked her. he kicked her repeatedly over and over in the stomach causing significant internal bleeding. Her liver, gallbladder, and pancreas were damaged. Her gallbladder was to the point of no repair. Her pancreas was the worst. On Saturday afternoon they were able to go in and repair her pancreas. She has at least a three week in hospital recovery before she can even go home. Nikki & i sat with her dad friday night at the hospital until 10pm. Josh was incarcerated Saturday evening. He will not be getting out of jail anytime soon. i cannot even wrap my head around what happened to my absolute best friend in the entire world. Those that I’ve known have felt so many emotions. One thing that I can tell every single person, my best friend is the strongest person I’ve ever met in my entire life. she is absolutely beautiful, and a hell of a fighter. everyone please pray to whoever you pray to, for her baby, friends and family [+ her fur babies] lacey is at upmc presby unable to have any visitors other than her parents. if you would like please send Lacey a card.
