Hi, my name is Jad and I am fundraising for my Umrah trip. I am 16 years old and a member of the youth committee at Salam Corner/OCIF Mission Viejo Masjid. I’ve been a consistent volunteer at OCIF. In a way to reward their volunteers, Salam Corner provided the youth with the opportunity to win prizes. The prize(s) contained a discounted Umrah Trip with Sheikh Tarik Ata. Alhamdulillah I was one of the lucky winners. The discounted Umrah package comes out to approximately $2500. I want to go to Umrah so I can seek forgiveness from Allah. In addition this will be my first time, making it a memorable experience. Umrah is considered one of the best deeds one can perform to get closer to Allah. I feel that going to Umrah with the Sheikh will improve my spirituality overall. Therefore, I have created this fundraising page to help my chances in going.
