Zackery Boedicker's medical bills

Hi! I'm Toni Weiss, Zack's mom. I'd like to start off by thanking each of you for your thoughts and prayers. They worked! Please keep them coming 

On Monday the 5th, Zack was found in his room, not breathing and with no pulse. CPR was performed and off to Metro Hospital we went! He was in a coma for 4 days. The lack of oxygen to his brain was significant, but he had so many amazing people on his side!  

The emergency team, the cardiovascular team, the pulmonary team, the neurology team, the psychology team, and so many other drs, and nurses never left his side for the first 48 hours. There were always at least 2 medical staff in his room. The drs, machines, and medicines kept my baby alive until his body was able to take over.  

On Tuesday February 6th, the Dr's said that they don't think he'll live longer than 3 days. But this young man wasn't ready to give up! By Thursday his vitals were better and the medications had been lowered. My son died on Monday the 5th and by Friday he was talking and walking! All the staff was in disbelief! The odds were very much against him and on Monday the 13th, he was discharged! Exactly 2 weeks later!

Zack still has a long road ahead of him! He's now prescribed heart medication and will be attending outpatient therapy, behavior health, physical, speech and Occupational therapies. He also needs dental work done because they messed up a few of his teeth when the had to intabate him. But ZACK'S ALIVE, and working on getting better!  

As you can imagine, there will be quite a large financial burden. Lord knows insurance only covers a percentage. (Cheap @$$&$) So his father Adam and I thought we'd give this a shot. If all you can send is thoughts or prayers, we'll take em!!! But if you're able to send him 5, 10, or even 20 to help with his medical bills, we'd be ever so grateful! Right now we need to be focusing on Zack's recovery!
