I'm Jake, a 29-year-old from the Midwest, facing a tough challenge. Recently, I was diagnosed with cancer, after a long journey of symptoms and hospital visits over the past few years. The diagnosis came after extensive testing revealed a tumor that has spread to my lymph nodes.

Right now, my priority is securing the necessary insurance to start treatment and surgery. As a maintenance engineer, I reduced my hours to qualify for state insurance, but I was denied due to recent income. I'm working to meet the state's requirements and reapply.
