- We are coming together to provide tangible support, love, and prayers for Lindsay Ligon Brooks, the 32 yr old widow of Chris Brooks. After a lifetime of chronic heart issues, Chris was fully healed and made whole when he entered eternity on Saturday May 20, 2023.
Chris endured multiple hospitalizations and surgeries throughout his lifetime. His life, although brief, was absolutely a gift and a miracle from the Lord.
After many years of dating, Chris married the love of his life, Lindsay Ligon in January 2020. Lindsay has lovingly remained by his side through good times and bad.
It is our desire to help provide her with resources as she begins the process of laying Chris to rest, as well as beginning the process of rebuilding her own life in the days to come. She faces many decisions in the coming days. How to fund those needs is one challenge we can help with.
Chris is the son of Hilton & Renee Brooks & brother of Gwen.
