Skydive for Cerebral Palsy
What better way is there to start the new year than by signing up for a skydive? So that’s what my friend Mat and I decided to do. On April 12th we’ll be jumping out of a plane flying 10,000ft above St Andrews to raise money for Action Cerebral Palsy.
Last summer my cousin William passed away, aged 28, having lived with severe cerebral palsy his whole life. He was very lucky to be able to access a huge range of resources which significantly enriched his quality of life, allowing him to enjoy his time to the full and give pleasure to everyone who knew him. Action Cerebral Palsy works to improve outcomes for children and young people with cerebral palsy and their families by raising public, professional and political awareness of the condition and by lobbying for improved clinical and educational practice and provision at national and local levels.
Neither of us expected to be doing a skydive this year, but we hope our fundraiser here will help a cause that means so much to us.
Any donation you can make will be very appreciated!
