Mis dos hermanas y yo estamos recaudando dinero para ayudar a nuestro hermano a asegurar una vivienda estable, ropa y otras necesidades esenciales como comida y agua. Nuestro hermano, Marcelino Cordero Román, tiene discapacidades físicas y mentales. Después de su reciente hospitalización, ya no puede caminar ni estar de pie cómodamente debido a una infección que afectó gravemente su pierna derecha. Debido a sus discapacidades, no puede trabajar ni mantenerse por sí mismo.

Originalmente, estaba a cargo de un miembro de la familia, sin embargo, durante los últimos 6 meses ha estado viviendo en las calles, sin hogar, después de ser expulsado. Fue solo después de su reciente hospitalización que sus hermanos fuimos contactados por el hospital sobre su paradero.

Solo dos de mis hermanas y yo estamos tratando de hacer lo mejor que podemos para proporcionarle comida, agua y una vivienda estable. Sin embargo, esto ha sido un gran desafío para nosotros.

Los tres de nosotros tenemos en promedio unos 60 años, bajos ingresos y apenas llegamos a fin de mes. También estamos alquilando actualmente y no tenemos el espacio ni el permiso de nuestros propietarios para alojar a otra persona. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible para ayudar a nuestro hermano dentro de nuestras posibilidades.

Actualmente, hemos ayudado temporalmente a nuestro hermano a conseguir una habitación de hotel para vivir hasta que podamos encontrar una vivienda estable para él. Sin embargo, la tarifa semanal de este hotel no es algo que los tres podamos pagar realísticamente además de nuestro propio alquiler y facturas personales. Hasta ahora, no hemos tenido suerte para encontrar una habitación o espacio para alquilar para él (si alguien tiene una habitación que esté alquilando, ¡por favor contáctenos!).

Estamos pidiendo a todos (familiares, amigos, etc.) que donen lo que puedan para ayudarnos a ganar tiempo para encontrar un lugar adecuado para que él viva, porque ha sido muy difícil para los tres hacerlo solos. Hello, thank you for taking the time to read our post. My two sisters and I are raising money to help our brother secure stable housing, clothing, and other essential necessities such as food and water. Our brother, Marcelino Cordero Roman, is both physically and mentally disabled. After his recent hospitalization, he is no longer able to walk or stand comfortably due to an infection that severely impacted his right leg. Because of his disabilities, he is not able to work and sustain himself.

He was originally in the care of a family member, however, for the past 6 months he has been living on the streets, homeless, after being forced out. It was only after his recent hospitalization that his siblings were contacted about his whereabouts from the hospital.

Only two of my sisters and I are currently trying to do the best we can to provide him with food, water, and stable housing. However, this has been a huge challenge for us.

The three of us are on average in our 60’s, low-income, and barely making ends meet. We also are all currently renting and don’t have the space nor the permission from our landlords to house another individual. We are trying our best to help our brother within our means.

Currently, we have temporarily helped our brother get a hotel room to live in until we are able to find stable housing for him. However, the weekly rate of this hotel is not something that we three can realistically pay on top of our own rent and personal bills. Thus far, we have not had any luck finding a room/ space to rent out for him (If anyone has a room that they are renting, please contact us!).

We are asking everyone (family, friends, ect.) if they can donate what they can to help buy us time to find a suitable place for him to live because it has been very difficult for us three to do it alone. We also ask if you can please share this GoFundMe with others, it would mean the world to us and Marcelino.
