Help Ryan Fight Stage 2 Colon Cancer While Staying Lawfully in the U.S.

Hello, my name is Ryan Williams, and I’m a seasonal worker from Jamaica who came to the United States with a dream to earn and support my family back home.

During my most recent work contract, I received devastating news: I was diagnosed with Stage 2 colon cancer.

Since then, my life has been filled with hospital visits, treatments, and painful decisions. I have already completed:

9 chemotherapy sessions

Multiple rounds of radiation

Surgery to insert a colostomy bag due to a blockage in my colon

Now, the next step in my medical journey is major surgery to remove the tumors — and hopefully, to reverse the colostomy and allow my body to begin truly healing.

Through all of this, I have made it a top priority to stay legally present in the U.S. I have secured an immigration attorney and applied for medical stay extensions at every stage of my treatment, because I respect U.S. immigration laws and want to do everything the right way.

What I Need Help With:

This fundraiser is to help cover essential costs during this critical stage of my treatment:

Temporary accommodation in Tampa, close to the hospital

Transportation to and from medical appointments

Ongoing immigration legal services to maintain my legal status while I recover
