Help Support The Green Family

Hello, my name is Sarah, and I am fundraising on behalf of my mother-in-law, Monica. Monica lost her dear husband Victor on January 1, 2021 to COVID-19 and has recently been diagnosed with multiple myeloma which has resulted in severely painful fractures in her spine. Monica is currently undergoing intensive chemo and radiation treatment and unfortunately is unable to return to teaching in the Fall of 2021.

One of the greatest challenges that the Green family currently faces is financial due to the loss of Victor's (and now Monica's) income. Current needs range from being more immediate, such as monthly bills, to long-term, such as ensuring that Monica's youngest son Matthew can have access to education beyond high school. The family also hopes to have a formal celebration of life as well as a graveside ceremony to honor Victor's faithfulness, compassion, and joy. This was unable to happen in the beginning of 2021 due to the pandemic.

I ask that you please consider lending a helping hand to my mother-in-law as well as the rest of the Green family. Your generosity will not only impact Monica, but her 4 children who are not only grieving the loss of their father but anxiously facing the uncertainty that comes with being a caregiver for their mom.
