Hi everyone, I created this fundraiser on behalf of my late father who recently passed away on my birthday (18/03/2021) after battling recovery from a stroke which hospitalised him since November 2019.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic hasn’t made it possible for us to be there with him in person so his loved ones has given him their moral support from a distance.

His wishes were for him to be repatriated back to the Igboland of Nigeria (Imo State, Owerri) which comes at an unplanned cost as he was showing gradual signs of recovery so we didn’t plan for his death.

My father is someone who was known for giving generously with his heart and even at times, would give more than what he actually had. He helped many with free legal advice & represented those that couldn’t do so themselves. 

He deserves a befitting memorial & burial to celebrate his life so for those that are able to, please contribute whatever you can afford and please remember, all assistance doesn’t require just finances; it could also be as simple as referring reasonably priced contacts to assist with the process.
