Hey all, my wonderful cat and best friend Lucy has unfortunately run into some pretty severe health problems the past month or two.

After taking her to do some testing, it turns out her UTI symptoms were pointing to even bigger issues than what we could imagine. The tests came back positive for diabetes; Unfortunately with a cat her age, the chances of her living a comfortable life remain very slim.

I have made the toughest decision to put her to rest after being together for 14 years. With euthanasia, medical bills, and afterlife services adding up, it’s become a tough financial situation to handle on my own.

I appreciate all of the support given to me by my friends, family, and community throughout this difficult time.
