In March 2023, our friend Joyce Msafiri from Arusha in Tanzania welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Rebecca. Joyce is a hard-working single mother, who works as a librarian and is raising Rebecca, now 21 months old, to be as kind, smart and independent as she is. In a couple of years, it will be time for Rebecca to start school but public schools in Tanzania are under resourced and private schools are financially out of reach.
