Anyone that knows Jackie, knows that luck hasn’t really been on her side this past 6-8 months. Back in November, Jackie received the call that nobody wants to get……….her son of only 33 years old, had passed away in Toronto. Naturally, Jackie did what any mother would do, and went to Toronto to get Brian’s remains. This was an extremely expensive trip! Over the next few months, Jackie took some time from work, to try to deal with day to day living, with a loved one gone. Jackie lives on her own, and works fulltime, but like all of us, we still have bills to pay. Jackie headed back to work early February, and started to finally get things back on track. Then, another unfortunate turn in her life. She received a call that her Dad wasn’t feeling well. He lives in Buchans, so Jackie then headed there be with her Dad during his final weeks. Sadly, he passed on May 8, 2018. One can only imagine the mental loss, much less the financial costs occurred while dealing with these two major crisis.
Just when Jackie thinks she can deal with things, and head back to work, as the bills can’t pay themselves, the third bit of bad luck strikes Jackie…………………I guess we can say bad luck, or good luck, as gratefully, she’s alive to talk about it. On Saturday June 23, 2018, while visiting with a friend, Jackie slipped going downstairs (14 to be exact). From the fall, Jackie ended up with a brain bleed, broken cheek bone, broken nose, broken right arm, and a very fat lip and toe. Jackie is a very lucky lady, however, now, after using all her disability from work for her other two crisis, Jackie has no form of income.
This Gofundme is being set up to help Jackie with her bills and day to day living until she gets back on her feet. Jackie doesn’t plan on being off long, but due to the head trauma, she can't return to work until the doctors gives her the green light to return to work. She is struggling emotionally, and financially, and will need some money for her mortgage, car, and heat and light.
Please help someone who seems to always do for others, and doesn’t have much luck herself. Remember, every bit helps!!!
