One of our dearest friends, Jennifer Williams Pechous, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in June of 2015. For those of you who know her, you know that she is a happy, fun-loving human being! She cherishes her friends and unconditionally loves her amazing and beautiful family.
Jen’s strength over the last four years humbly, astounds us all. She underwent a very serious surgery, called the Whipple Procedure, in the summer of 2015 which removed portions of her pancreas, liver and intestines. This surgery, they believe is what has given her these last four years with her family and friends.
Jen has endured endless rounds of chemo treatments, tests and doctor visits. She has had victorious moments along the way and heart-wrenching moments, too. Unfortunately, her battle with cancer is coming to an end, as it has taken over her body. This awful disease has spread to her pelvis and spine, lungs and now, her liver.
Jen is one of the strongest, most selfless people we have ever known and is always there to give her love and support to anyone that needs it. As this last stretch of her life is approaching, she tirelessly worries about the future for Tom, Jacob, Ben and Lauren. Her family is her life and the sole reason she has hung on for this long. Her fight was for herself, but more importantly, to watch the family grow that she and Tom created. Even in her sickest moments, she was there, cheering on her children at every event, possible…because that is what brings joy to her life.
Now, it's time that we send back some of that love and support to Jen, Tom, Jacob, Ben and Lauren. Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated. A monetary donation will comfort and support the family, in the difficult days to come. Anything that we can do to help her, Tom and the children is most important. Please spread the word and continue to keep Jen and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With the utmost love and respect,
Jessie, Kelly, Leahy, Marci, Mayhew, News & Rutter
