Hi all, I’m sorry it has come to this. And belive me it’s been a hard decision to do this. My dog tiny (yes I know it’s a controversial name), recently went for his castration.
I would like to give a bit of a back story on my dog tiny. We rescued him for an animal shelter in watford called National Animal Welfare trust. We originally went to the shelter to adopt a cat. But when I saw tiny I fell in love with him immediately.

When we went through the process of adopting tiny, we was told we would have to have him castrated, which is understandable as it’s their wish as he’s a rescue. When we was going through all the adoption process we was under the impression the castration was all paid for and he would be insured for the castration and any issues that come with it.

He went for his surgery two weeks ago, and his testicles have been swolen ever since. We tried seeking their help, but they wasn’t very useful and told us that it wasn’t really anything to worry about as he’s a big dog. The vet told me if we had any worries we could bring him down. Now obviously I’m not a vet in any way shape or form, and as the vet didn’t say it was urgent I couldn’t get time of work for it.

However when I got home last night from work, I noticed something was wrong with tiny, and when we check his testicles, the stitched had come open and was slowly seeping through.

We phone the vet and they told us as it was their castration they would sort the problem.
We then waited 4 hours for him to be seen. 10 hours later after they have come to collect him, taken him to a vet and brought him back.
When the centre arrived to us with tiny was told we have to pay £1400 in vet bills, even though we was told he would be covered. They also brought him back to us without the surgery being done, which I feel is very unprofessional as his testicles are at risk of ripping open at any point in time.

Now unfortunately we don’t just have this type of money saved, and we was under the impression they had him insured for this.
And as much as I hate to ask for a donation I could not afford to pay for this surgery with help. And the vet clinic he’s being treated at won’t offer a payment plan.
Anything would be amazing to help pay for my dogs surgery he is undergoing tomorrow.
And I would like to say a massive thanks in advance to anyone would can help.
And if you can’t, just to share the post would be greatly appreciate.
Kind regards, Cameron and my dog tiny.
