My name is Archer Archer. I am 26 years old, have cerebral palsy and travel life in a power wheelchair. I recently moved from the city to the country, and my needs have changed. I spend more time traversing rough, sandy terrain and less time on concrete. My "city chair" has become a barrier that doesn't allow me the ability to leave my home. It gets stuck easily. I got stuck in my neighbor's yard (pictures below), and my mom had to take me out of the chair and pull it out with her riding lawnmower. After this frustrating experience, I was determined to find a solution that would give me more independence and allow me to safely go outdoors. I researched and found the Action Trackchair (pictured below). It can handle uneven, rocky, muddy, and sandy terrain with ease. It costs $18,200 (not covered by insurance).
