As a lot of you have probably already heard Jared Wetzel had an accident at work Tuesday morning. For the last year he has been learning the HVAC trade. He excelled very quickly and for the last 5 months has been running his own crew. Tuesday morning he was working in an attic in Williams and had a seizure and fell through to the ground floor. He was rushed to FMC, and was intubated due to continued seizures. They did many tests to determine his injuries and find the cause of his seizures and was moved to ICU. He sustained a severe concussion, fractured and dislocated shoulder, compression fractures in his back and knee effusion. He will not be able to drive or work for at least 3 months due to his injuries and seizures. Jared is a very hard working and independent young man and this will be a setback for him, as he will not be able to do the job he loves. The recovery is going to be long and may require neurological testing and follow up in Phoenix.
The Wetzel’s are an amazing family and are strong in their faith, they will push through this together with the love and support of their family and amazing friends and the community. Please help in anyway you feel led. Thank you for all the prayers, that is the most important, God bless every single one of you, and just a reminder every day is so precious.
