Unexpected loss of a husband and father

John Chartier (52), a life long resident of Mansfield, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday June 23rd. He leaves behind his cherished wife Laura, and their two sons Jack (15) and Michael (11).

John was a dedicated and loving husband, father, son and friend. Anyone who knew John, knows that his boys were his pride and joy. He was active in supporting them in all of their activities from cub-scouts to football, you could always find John there cheering his boys on. John was a family man, some of his favorite past times were cooking dinner for his family, tending to his garden and playing out in the yard with the boys. He worked hard to support his family, emotionally and financially.

With all of the emotional pain and stress that a loss like this brings, it also brings financial burdens. We are trying to raise money for Laura and their sons to help with any costs that will incur, and to help wherever needed. As a community, we want to ease any stress on the family caused by outstanding costs of the funeral and what comes afterwards.

It is in these times of loss and sadness when you see people come together to help one another make it through, and to support those we care for. We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide. We also ask everyone to please keep the Chartier family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
