My name is N’Keeme Williams, I am a sophomore at Bermuda Institute and I have been presented with the opportunity of representing my country at a very prestigious occasion called the Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC).The conference will take place in Washington D.C. and New York City over a time period of 14 days (June 20th-July 4th, 2015). The Global Young Leaders Conference is a phenomenal opportunity that provides students that have shown leadership potential to gain leadership strategies and provides a stage for young people from all over the world to talk and discuss real-world issues that plague our society today. There will be visitations to colleges and even a visit to the United Nations. this conference truly does appear to be a life-changing opportunity and I am honoured to have been chosen due to my PSAT scores and George Mason University’s partnership with the Global Young Leaders Conference. I feel I deserve this opportunity to show what I can offer to the conference and begin to establish a name for myself in the business world. I have worked hard to excel and present myself as a respectable leader and student. This is a once in a lifetime chance that I must take advantage of now. I must prove that I truly am a leader. I am asking you to sponsor me financially to take part in this enlightening opportunity and help me reach my maximum potential. I will not let you down and will try my best to stand out and present myself as a well-educated student who possesses intellect and reasoning. I plan to uplift Bermuda and establish this island as an island of talent. I am looking forward to meeting new people at the conference and understanding their views and positions on certain situations. Thank You!
