My name is Angel, and I have been battling cancer for 15 years.

In 2011, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

I had Chemo, Lumpectomy, Axillary Node Dissection, Radiation, weekly blood draws, Bonescans, CT Scans, PET Scan, MRI, all the things, and wis ultimately declared cancer free in 2012.

In 2020, I had a recurrence which required a mastectomy and more Radiation.

2021 I was again told I had a 95% Chance of remaining free of cancer.

In 2024, I had Gallbladder Surgery after which one of my vocal chords became paralyzed. An irregular CT Scan Led to a PET Scan that showed that the cancer had metastasized to my lungs, lymph nodes, vertebrae and other breast leading to a diagnosis of Stage IV cancer.

Living with cancer at this stage means constant daily suffering—physically, emotionally, and financially. Despite the pain and the toll on my body, I continued to work for as long as I possibly could.

I was still working as recently as July 2025, doing everything I could to stay independent and survive.

In October, my condition became critical. I was hospitalized for two months. When I was finally released, my life had changed. I now require continuous oxygen and can no longer walk unassisted making mobility and daily life extremely difficult. When I leave my home for Dr. Visits or chemo, I must use a wheel chair.

The cost of long-term cancer treatment, hospital stays, medications, oxygen equipment, mobility needs, and basic living expenses has become overwhelming. The financial burden alone is more than one person can carry—especially while fighting for their life.

I am asking for help not because I want to—but because I need to.
