The state of Texas has declared war on LGBT people, specifically transgender individuals. Every day, I keep up with the news to inform myself of the latest on anti-transgender legislation. I live my life in fear, and I do not want to be apart from my friends and loved ones, but I cannot remain in Texas safely.
